And this week ran it into a reef, capsized it and exploded it for a total loss of an uninsured $64 million vessel that is 1/10th of their whole navy and their only sinking post WW2.
Kiwi media has a bunch of articles praising the captain for saving lives with a timely evacuation. Hot take I guess. She had no prior commands on minor/support vessels and went straight to the biggest ships they had, her last command was a school classroom.
