I get it. If I was stupid, I'd probably have to figure out all manner of ways of coping with my insecurities when I had to deal with people who were smarter than me. Donald Trump loves to rile up the media about a non-story, play the victim, and then use it to his political advantage. He's employed that strategy to great success at many different junctions during his presidential campaign.

But I'm probably giving him and his campaign too much credit. I think a speech writer just fucked up really bad. Someone is probably getting fired for that.
