You're correct that The Science didn't give a timeline for precisely how LONG it will take for humanity to be eradicated.

However, they did make this point that humanity WILL now be eradicated unequivocally since we did NOT stop using fossil fuels within 5 years.

So now it's time to panic. No point in having children or investing for the future, humanity is ending. The question is now when.

However, we are right fucked on the climate issue. Large portions of the southwest and middle east are going to be uninhabitable by humans. First for economic reasons then for biological reasons. Economic turmoil and hundreds of millions of refugees are a certainty
