Pence has the charisma of a piece of bread and stands for policies which are utterly out of touch with 60++ percent of the country. He never had the potential to win a primary, let alone a general election. Let's not forget that he only ditched his governor job and jumped on the, at the time, suicidal-looking Trump train because he was so unpopular in his home state that he was on track to lose reelection as a GOP incumbent in Indiana...
