I am idly wondering if and when there will be a major diplomatic row relating to this war. It looks like as it gets worse and worse (read: more civilians indiscriminately bombed and killed) more and more countries are going to see the Israeli government in a new light (hint: not a good light).

I don't indulge myself in petty polemics of a conflict. Gaza is a defacto open air prison. If you have a neighbour like that and don't give a fuck, something bad is going to happen at some point. From my PoV, all of the actions right now are a coverup for the total failure of the current Israeli government to secure their borders. Netanjahu should be the one to be persecuted in the MSM. By killing people in Gaza like now, you're breeding the next stock for Hamas to recruit.

I also totally hate Jews = Israeli equivalence from both sides in MSM and politics. I don't have anything at all against Jews and not every Jew agrees with the actions taken by the state Israel but if you dare to criticize their actions, you're labeled an anti-Semite. Same way Arabs in the west attack regular Jews indiscriminately or draw David stars on their doors.
