This is a recurring theme I've noticed in the most desperate circles of journalism, where reporters make their story about how they were unable to even contact the people who clearly brushed them off, as if that meant anything beyond them being a totally worthless reporter who can't even get a phone call. Its not the first time I've commented on that same phenomenon, but I can't remember what some of the previous ones have been, its not exactly notable. The entire professional ability of a journalist relies upon their access to people and getting them to talk, and apparently "Daniel Lippman" had less success than I would have if I just randomly started calling up women on that list and asking them for comment, because 2/65 is fucking pathetic
