If there are degrees of wrongness, ie, if one theory explaining a phenomenon is more true than another theory of the same phenomenon, that implies the existence of a real underlying truth we can never be exposed to through the apparent world, and furthermore degrees of wrongness.
truth is uncovered by what we tell of the truth by our statements of its' nature (how the truth (reality) is). (the thing about seeing an elephant from different angles at its' best...)
imo the funny thing about truth is its' normative nature which can't be separated the nature of truth. the truth is a normative statement of reality - or of "how things are", and "how things are" is very much depedent on how one's "way of life" is.
i hope that i'm sober enough for my words not to collapse into a meaningless word-salad.
