Of course there is free will. Your life is shaped by decisions you've made. And at any given point of time when you've made those decisions, you could have made other decisions and your life would have been differently.
There is facticity that is at play sure, but to act like our lives our planned out on a specific track and there is some fate awaiting us is metaphysical mumbo jumbo. We make decisions every day that define who we are and define our lives.
Either/Or.
what say you to the prospect of our free will being an illusion created by consciousness? or at most a coexisting byproduct, which is closer to Dennett's view?

i don't get these. are they meant to mock? i understand mocking bill maher but don't know why he's even mentioned alongside the others.
also, dan dennett believes in free will so i guess that's worthy of mocking as well.
Bill Maher shares their views, that's why he's included.

Lol, Mechahume ftw.
And the 'Four Horsemen'. And Mechahume is right, the 'Four Horsemen' couldn't hold Kant's 18th century jockstrap.
Dennet in particular could use some help with his M&E.
good choice of making him the big bad nemesis

i love how fitting that comic is
