if we dont have refugee camps set up by mid week its going to get even more nasty, people wont evacuate if they think there's nothing to evacuate to.


I've been away from any updates in the news so far. Have there been any humanitarian corridors established?

Genuinely don't know. My understanding is that there may not be anywhere to go. What are even the geographical options? The Sinai, Egypt, or to transfer to the West Bank? Sail into the Mediterranean and land in Cyprus or Greece?

No afaik. zero refugee corridors were offered from the Israeli side. several refugee camps were established in Gaza itself, and some of those have been hit by air strikes.

afaik Egypt has done nothing but say "guys dont fight". reports are that egypt is "preparing for an influx of refugees" but zero specifics afaik.

if there's a few more days we're looking at a situation where anything but an evacuation by sea will be fruitless. we're in for a high death toll, and unprecedented rubble piles being all that remains. israel is likely to leave hamas no shelter, giving them only the option of operating from Egypt or other places. they wont allow the chance that the iron dome is overwhelmed again.

I was just kidding, humanitarian relief would mean UN is doing something for a change

Egypt is the main realistic option geographically

They haven’t been rlly helpful

Hostages were dead the moment they were taken captive :/ Bad strategy to play into and enable more bold terrorist hostage games and reciprocate that despicable move as much as everyone wants them saved. RIP :/
