you would have to provide something first, i cant dodge thin air

writing science denier, fossi fuel propaganda in every post like a bot is still not an argument except for the professionally offended, who never get along with anyone

you were the loudmouth in school that nobody liked

there is no proof that co2 concentration are directly linked like that, its a possibility

me introducing you to the basic science behind our knowledge about earth's glacial cycles, and explaining how co2 levels are directly linked to that is not "thin air".
it's actually physics (in short: co2 molecules absorbing infrared radiation, trapping heat) - something you hilariously claimed to have at least a cursory understanding of, lol.

i mean, your position couldn't be any clearer: by declaring that you reject even the overwhelming scientific consensus on the topic, likening it to geocentrism, you have already demonstrated that you don't understand what scientific "proof" even means - so it's not surprising that you outright reject even the most uncontroversial and basic elements of science itself, meaning theres literally nothing i could show or explain to you that could ever change your mind or stance. that's the definition of science denial and anti-intellectualism.

You are either ignorant of the science, or a liar. There is a ton of evidence that CO2 is directly linked to temperature. That isn't to say its the only cause. There are other effects that have to be considered to get the full picture, but all else equal more co2 will result in a higher average global temperature, and this hasn't been a matter of debate since literally the 1950s.

i always try to not read your stupid responses, but nobody could describe yourself better than you do, there is only one person in this subforum with the worst ideology infested anti intellectualism and its not me

now excuse me please, i am busy with actual research, not everyone has as much as time as you political "science" students do

i looked at the graph once again and while there is obviously a correlation there are also lots of periods where it behaves in different ways

i see no proof why this period is something out of the ordinary

the thing i tried to explain to fender is that our progress will solve that problem anyway, if it exists like predicted

co2 budgets, forced rebuilds of the energy sector with ridiculous costs (like germany), while endagering supply, are simply not necessary

same with apocalypse panic a la greta thunberg/fenderp

i just hope your "research" doesn't require any reading comprehension, critical thinking, data, facts, proof, physics, logic, or common sense - otherwise you're screwed.

you're also lying to thor. pretty sure this is the first time you even mentioned adaptation (which is what i think you mean by "progress"). not that it's a good argument to begin with since our approach has to be obviously both - and we're already "adapting" to the tune of trillions each year, but that still can't save some regions from famine due to prolonged droughts, other regions from devastating floods, tropical storms, or simply disappearing due rising oceans. "if it exists" is a joke to anyone who isn't ignorant enough to assume that just because they are not directly affected by anything too inconvenient, it's still up for debate.

your "i looked at the graph again" attempt of a semi-backpedal is cringe af btw. the connection between co2 concentration in the atmosphere and global warming is more than just that one graph displaying remarkable correlation over hundreds of millions of years, to a point that it's outright absurd to assume there is no causation, there is also a ton of science explaining (and it's really not THAT complicated) how one leads to the other. plus, the rapid average temperature increase since the industrialisation (which IS "out of the ordinary", again) is perfectly consistent with the rapid increase of humanity's co2 output.

all of that is uncontroversial amongst even remotely intelligent and sane people, and your claim "there is no proof for that" just illustrates to me that you simply don't understand what scientific proof even means. you're not being a critical thinker, or sceptic, or whatever you want to tell yourself - you're being a science-denier. that's flat earther / anti-vaxxer type of denial and anti-intellectualism you're displaying.

You should take it as an example, especially the whining part

If my family got £70 million of tax payers money every year,
I'd be pretty humble too.

He served in ww2 which is to his credit. Equally ironic is his family supported fascism and he even personally marched with nazis in the 30's
