At which rate are wages rising?
hard to find numbers since they hide this shit and the labor market is in a real doozy right now
https://www.cnbc.com/amp/2021/07/08/the-upside-to-inflation-rising-wages.htmlWorkers already saw a bump in their paychecks for June. As of the latest tally, average hourly earnings rose 0.3% month over month and 3.6% year over year, according to the Labor Department.

curious to see a study 10 years from now to see what % of the inflation is attributed to shortages compared to stimulus. as well as a postmortem on the shortages, some seem seriously bogus and potentially manufacturer driven to spike prices, and shades of gray of that rippling out into even legitimate shortages. certainly not as cut and dry as say exxon tanker crashes and oil prices spike type shortages of yesteryear.
yeah the problem with a 300% to 400% increase in say steel or lumber is even when it “crashes” 50% its still way up. that said the cure to high prices is high pricez
