You're owning what, exactly? Where's the second wave in Florida? Texas?

Go back to posts here and in the Donor forum and you'll find me posting back in early March that this was nothing to shut the world down over. That the old, infirm, and immunocompromised should self-isolate. That a huge portion of the population had it, and once testing got under way in a big way, positive cases would go way up, without the death spike to match. You worthless pukes were insisting I didn't know shit.

As it turns out, a coronavirus is still a coronavirus and still acts like a coronavirus no matter WHAT strain it is.

So now you're backtracking and talking about how "cases in Texas are spiking". So? Deaths are NOT. No second wave. No nothing. Likewise in Florida and elsewhere.

Turns out, I was absolutely correct. It's a cold. How would I have guessed it? Could it be that 20% of all strains of the COMMON COLD are coronaviruses?

Yes, this one can be nasty to the elderly and those with specific comorbidities. Sure, those folks should have been given incentive to self-isolate.

You assholes wanted to crash the entire global economy, ruin businesses, people's ability to provide for themselves, because you were panic stricken, whiney pussies.

Your (great)grandparents stormed the bitches of Normandy in an attempt to free the world from Tyranny. You insist tyranny be imposed for "the public good".

Filth. Unprincipled filth. And you call yourselves "progressive". Progress right back into the scum of the early 20th century.

Why do you want the people who stormed the Normandy beaches and saved us from the nazis to die from coronavirus now that is a wild thing to say the day after memorial day i am stunned and as a veteran i am offended.

I don't know why you are acting like its over. Colds don't do well in warm places, and texas and florida are warm. Cases are still accelerating in some States and we are climbing to 100000 deaths.

You can call me all the bad names you want you're still an aspergery douche.

Now type 2000 words and say very little.

Those people died as a result of orders you supported. Just last week you were openly supporting Governor Cuomo's order to send infected COVID patients back to nursing homes where they nearly instantly infected everyone else and the death rates went so through the roof that they account for half the deaths in the state.

I want the people who stormed the beaches at Normandy who still live to live in the same free nation they risked their existence to protect, where they can choose their own risks, and assume PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY for their lives. Not a state where they have armed officers forcing them to do something they don't want to do.

And your attempt to say, "Well, it's still cold..." fails, because there are "still cold states" with sizable metro areas where lockdown lifted fast and there's no issue either.

You say you're "owning it", yet all you're doing is making excuses. You wanted martial law, you got it, and the entire world is suffering for it.

It's the complete lack of personal responsibility evidenced by filthy progressive scum that is entirely at issue here. If the at risk groups were incentivised to self-isolate, and the rest of life went on as usual, if the media hadn't gone apeshit and claimed the sky was falling, and if ignorant keyboard warriors didn't champion the call, at least those who served at Normandy could still go to church and pray before their death claims them, and be surrounded by their grandchildren when they die. Instead, you believe it's up to the state to be everyone's fucking nanny, and personal risk assessment and equilibrium is not a thing.

You're just a massive can of "duh". There's nothing intelligent whatsoever in anything you've said anywhere in this topic. All you know how to do is try to turn every fucking thing you see into some form of attack against Trump. Get off his dick already. He bangs supermodels, no matter how much you pine after him, he's not interested in banging you.

As soon as we reopen the economy will rebound quickly. The sky hasn't fallen no matter how hysterical you get. This isnt a real recession.

There's a difference between an economic recession and a natural disaster. Nothing actually happened to our economy to make it non functional like previous recessions. Our economy is actually not broke.

Things are hard because we are dealing with an actual plague, But the economy will probably be roaring before the year is over.

This is a temporary problem with an end you just have to be smart and not shit the bed this far in.

Also need to get a better detector of when people are messing with you. I accused you of wanting to kill Normandy invaders and you responded all earnestly about how Hitler wants us to surrender to Corona virus.

There is no way to recover from the lost production and lost income for small businesses that have been deemed non-essential. The loans they've been extended to help with "furlough pay" and the standard upkeep of their buildings are LOANS. They will have to pay them back, based on months where they had no income. The average small business runs on tight margins (often 5% or lower) just to stay in business.

Even generous estimates are predicting a third of ALL small businesses in the nation will be out of business by January 2021, with most estimates going up to 60%.

Even many of the large department stores are closing up to a third of their stores down. Millions of workers won't have jobs to go back to when this is all over. To make it better, many of those out of work don't qualify for unemployment. In most blue states, unemployment is being denied for those who're still technically "employed" even though they can't work because the state says no. What happens when their deferred rent comes due? They supposed to suddenly cough up 4 months worth of rent out of their ass? Maybe the landlords are supposed to just swallow it, go bankrupt, and cause everyone to be homeless?

You claim it'll "bounce back". My question is how?

And that you'd even think of this as a plague says you're completely ignorant.

You need to learn to read. You said stupid shit, and I directly told you that policies such as Governor Cuomo's which you SUPPORTED actively DID kill Normandy liberators. YOU, PERSONALLY, supported policies that forced infected patients back into nursing homes where others would become infected, and the highest death rates in the world could occur. YOU. The only person mentioning Hitler is YOU.

If you wanted the economy to stay open you should be blasting trump for not putting in contract tracing and more testing in place early to keep things open as was done and/SEEN in places like S. Korea etc.
STOP WITH ITS THE COLD. you don't get 90k+ deaths from a cold in 2 months with 75% of the people sitting at home.. STOP.
May it turn out to be less severe YES. It's still not a cold. So far so good on the 2nd wave part that would be great news. I'm starting to lean that there may not be.. I'm not convinced yet.
If you are willing to sacrifice the most effected elder/pre existing etc. just say it's worth people dying to you and move on.
