Your answer is turn hotels into nursing homes and send people to those nursing homes, while these residents are paying $10,000 a month for the exact same goods and services in their homes (the skilled nursing facility) already?

People go home when they leave the hospital. Your solution will work for shelters and homeless people but not sick people in hospitals.

The hospital is full of people who were in nursing homes better to sick to be there. When the window opens it's time to go. If you stay too long you just get sick again. There are diseases that only live at hospitals...

I for one don't know what the solution is. I am glad I am out of long term care administration because that's where I started.

Go back to February, you were applauding Pelosi's attempts to get you to go dine out in your local Chinatown. Go to late March early April, you were defending Governor Cuomo's orders to send confirmed cases that were still contagious back to nursing homes, resulting in half the total COVID death counts in New York.

If there's anyone here who's racist, it's you. You'll actively defend the actions of the absolutely brutal and expansionist communist regime that actively prevented US companies from sending US medical supplies that were produced using US wealth and US resources to the US, and turn around and blame a President who has done everything he possibly could to provide the states all the assistance that could be reasonably expected in helping get through this.

Give it another 8 months for the data to finish rolling out that total deaths in the US in 2020 are exactly on par with the prior 10 years, Covid's only real impact was to kill those who were going to die anyhow, and you'll blame the entire lockdown on Trump, even though there was literally NO federal lockdown order. Recommendations to the states on social distancing programs, federal funding assistance to bring unemployment payouts up to earned wage levels, sure. But lockdowns were determined by the states and only by the states, not by the federal government at all.
