Bg3 is good thus far. Obviously lots of visual bugs to correct but the games mechanics seem to be working fine.

Divinity 2 is my favourite game so I'm constantly comparing it to it. Much of the art is directly taken without any change at all from divinity 2 which is fine.

They need to fix their pathing. In divinity 2 if you clicked somewhere ahead and there was fire in the path the ai was intelligent enough to walk around when your party members followed you. These idiots just walk right into it.

The camp system is meh, I don't feel remotely punished since you just camp whenever making the game overly easy. It's like divinity spamming bedroll except your bedroll also gives you your source points back, it just removes some challenge and does not punish you enough for taking a shit load out of spells to accomplish a task.

Oh I need light, okay let me just instant teleport to camp and switch and right back to where I was.

If I had to run to camp it would be more punishing making me consider my choices more.

That's really only been my major gripe.

Are any of you fellow degenerates still playing vidya games or are you so nostalgic about PaRD that you post to gaming forum despite no longer playing games?

Wondering what people are playing. Friends out here are hopping on to Baldur's Gate III bandwagon. $60 is so much though.

Meanwhile, in France: "History teacher found decapitated in the streets after showing Muhammad caricatures to his students - suspect shot dead by the police."

I've really been enjoying it. These bug crashes are kind of a bummer though.

Yeah I've had a few. It's enjoyable, people feel they're always getting punished, although I have not played and table top I'd have to imagine as long as it's roll based it would be the same. I don't mind it, does add a lot of randomness compared to divinity though.
