So the situation is really, HRC says they had no classified information. But Trump doubts this, and calls for foreign powers to hack and find them to prove their is classified information there and HRC is a liar.

Long story short, Trump's asking a foreign nation to hack what he believes is classified information, treason.

I don't see him as asking anyone to hack. The hacking if it occurred is done, you can't hack what isn't there.
If Hillary has her own missing 30,000 emails they are not on a server that is accessible to be hacked , on a hard drive in her closet
maybe.
If US government has them they wouldn't be missing.

Your right in one aspect , he over steped his authority. It should be Obama asking for Russian governments assistance in retrieving the hacked(past tense as in it has occurred already) emails so that US national security can be secure. Probably best not to do it publicly either.
