I also find it bewildering that Goom and others would minimize Trump's retention of classified documents when the pictures show just how unsecured they were and the property had already been infiltrated by a Chinese spy. At that point you are left arguing that keeping highly classified documents secret doesn't matter at all, which I suppose is an argument, but it's not one you're going to win at trial.

The best argument they have is that he can declassify anything, which is stupid because lots of laws like FOIA depend on classification status so the rest of the government has to be made aware for it to be legal, and none of the charges are dependent on the classification status anyway.

The only way Trump gets out of this is Judge Canon making blatantly unconstitutional rulings and the justice department not being competent enough to appeal them, or him winning in 2024 and pardoning himself.

I told him a few posts ago that im not arguing what the rules say (i even said he's right), he's either realized he's wrong and is just tripling down on a strawman or he's legitimately too stupid to understand what i'm even saying.

he did afterall say "you cant do that" in response to a user saying "the mods told me i could", so it should be clear to anyone with an iq over 50.
