Can you point to a single example of Trump touting an alleged political success which flew in the face of the actual effect of his policies and which was defended by 'us'?
I'm sure there's others, but the most hilarious one I can think of is the tweet following the first North Korea summit, where he declared them "no longer a threat". It completely undermined the administration's messaging of maximum pressure, and the cult's response on PaRD was "hey our allies and adversaries around the world understand that Trump is just bloviating so there's no harm done by his blatant lying".
I can't remember if you defended it, but that was one of the most embarrassing PaRD moments for ofthevoid.
Edit -
I found the thread:

Trumps tweets have a complex identity that doesn't fit into a binary true/false system
The identity of any given tweet is fluid, one day it could be the brutal honest truth, the next day the same tweet can simply be a humourous joke, at other times it's a brilliant troll intended to send the media into a frenzy, and sometimes it's designed to elicit a specific response from international targets
You need a very high iq and the ability to play 4d chess to understand the brilliance with which each tweet is woven, fully intended to vary in meaning over time
