He shouldnt concede until the electors vote.
And he honestly should NOT run in 2024. YUGE mistake
I agree that he should not run again in 2024. But aside from that, the article I linked made all the right arguments.
Also, I dont think that Trump will run again anyway, even if he announces his candidacy on Jan 20. First, age will catch up with him, he'd be 78 years old in 2024. Will he have the energy and the appetite to go through this quagmire again? Second, he will be facing a lot of nasty lawsuitts once he leaves office and his immunity from most prosecution ends. The crew from the SDNY is already chomping at the bit. Chances are that he will be mired in fresh scandal.
And third, the novelty will have worn off. In 2016, he won, in no small part, because he successfully sold conservatives on his exaggerated and unrealistic vision of comprehensively renewed American greatness. But now, we know how a Trump presidency looks like in practice, and it was definitely not an unmitigated success story. There were both a lot of wins and a lot of fails. Will he really be able to prevail over a primary rival who sells himself as a younger, fresher, more competent and less erratic version of Trump? Since he also wont enjoy incumbency in 2024, it's very doubtful that he would be able to win a primary unless it's against an ultra-fractured field (like in 2016) once again.
