You asked if he consistently railed against "masks, social distancing, and other measures"
What we have here is a short out of context clip, not a consistent pattern.
There is no cowardice on my part by honestly answering the question. Only intellectual cowardice on yours.

Whether he does or does not is irrelevant to my previous points.

Choosing to label people who disagree with you 'science-deniers and authoritarians' and then pretending a radical libertarian always takes their side is a rather impressive mountain of dishonest delusions.

You are the worst of the dishonest losers who pretend people are bootlickers and evil for disagreeing with you and leftism.
You should try to be more honest and intellectual and actually consider and respond to points on merit.

The idea that years and years of consistently advocating libertarianism is just some ruse so I can have 'deniability' is so insane its pretty funny.

People here like yourself often fall into this trap of low IQ binary thinking.
Either you agree with leftists and all criticism of Trump or you must be a bootlicker for Trump.
In reality leftists and critics of Trump can be and often are wrong and people who disagree with you are not necessarily Trump supporters or bootlickers.
I support liberty and truth.

You dislike that I combat leftist activism and responded emotionally.

you're not a science denier for disagreeing with me, you're a science denier for siding with people who ignore the advice of the overwhelming majority of experts in the field.
you're not a bootlicker for disagreeing with me, you're a bootlicker for constantly and uncritically defending whatever your draft dodging cult leader chooses as his daily narrative.
you're not a white nationalism apologist for disagreeing with me, you're a white nationalism apologist for repeatedly making excuses for white nationalists.

you can disagree with me without being any of the above. ice mage for example is a conservative, and thundercock is a 'moderate' democrat. they are both supportive of establishment policies, narratives, and candidates all the time, and i constantly disagree with them. they are neither bootlickers nor science deniers, let alone white nationalism apologists though. you'll have to find a different excuse to fool yourself into thinking it's not the content of your posts that makes people call you that. maybe call everyone who mocks your shitty narratives 'stupid and garbage' some more, seems to be working well...

Their failings are part of Trump's failing. Trump is supposed to be the head of the executive, and in times of crisis provide leadership and guidance to the other members of the executive on how to handle the situation. Governors, Mayors, CDC officials all turn to the head executive and Trump utterly failed them. It's hard to do your job when your boss is kneecapping you at every turn.

So it was Trump's failed leadership that is responsible for mayor Bill de Blaiso encouraging New Yorkers to go out in early March, when it was already very obvious what was coming and that this was a bad idea?
Trump's failed leadership is responsible for Cuomo sending infectious patients back to nursing homes (a mistake that Gov. DeSantis avoided in Florida, resulting in much lower death numbers)?
Trump's failed leadership is responsible for DeSantis opening up his state too early and promoting a culture of carelessness in Florida (something that a fellow GOP Governor, Mike DeWine, did not do, despite Ohio being a redder state than FL)?
And what exactly is the excuse for the recently surging case numbers in deep blue California, which had handled the initial wave perfectly and now seems to be losing control too?

trump decided to make it a partisan issue in the first place. he decided to play the states against each other out of a misguided political calculation, he decided it's best to NOT have some kind of united response by ignoring the science. you know that. reframing and cherry picking only gets you so far, maybe a meme that can 'convince' bi-ghot and endlesscry, but every halfway intelligent person KNOWS it's trump who is responsible for tens of thousands of unnecessary american deaths during this pandemic, and there's no escaping that truth, no matter how desperate your denials get.

The American people are also to blame. We really have a bunch of selfish fucking idiots in this country. At this point, I think we need to have some sort of societal expectation that you serve your country in some capacity (military, state/federal government, etc.) for two years minimum.

Id support that, but ironically we are too obese now too.

The spike was two weeks after the George Floyd protests. And deaths havent risen at all, just cases.

If it really were the George Floyd protests, the case numbers should go back down again after a few weeks. Will be interesting to see. I doubt it though, we'd be seeing a spike in Northern places like New York or Minnesota too if the protests were the reason for the recent surge.

I didn't say they are all his fault, I said it was partially Trump's fault for not providing leadership and a consistent message for others to follow.

Even when it's something that "is the worst blemish of his record" you just can't help yourself.......

This is another pathetic attempt to label figures you don't like a bad thing and then pinning that label on those who disagree with you in arguments concerning those figures.

Making factual points in a discussion doesn't make me a science denier.
Not even if you declare i'm siding with Tucker.

This is a lie.
I do not uncritically defend Trump.

Just another pathetic excuse to dodge and dismiss criticism and the truth.

I criticized and mocked an SPLC link you posted and you flew off the handle for months on end.
Valid criticism isn't 'repeatedly making excuses for white nationalists' and doesn't make me one either.

Human garbage regularly falsely smears other people as white nationalists and nazis.
You have no intellectual integrity.

Icemage and Tcock are very anti-trump deep state loyalists who are happy to throw their support behind democrats and just about any criticism of Trump.
Icemage is apparently a media matters fanboy now.

I on the other hand choose to call you out on your dishonesty and objectively false claims and regularly argue against leftism and leftists. You hate this.
Your emotion and hatred gets the best of you and you regularly libel people for disagreeing with you and criticizing the left.

Its not a mystery why you choose to falsely label me these names and not them.
It doesn't make it valid.

Rather than being open to the idea that other people can have valid points and actually addressing them on merit you rush to demonize and dismiss them.
White nationalists, nazis, racists, trump bootlickers, science deniers.
Those are the options in your worldview.

Its much easier for you to get mad and lie about people and call them names than to become educated and attempt to refute what they say with actual arguments and facts.

the problem with your pathetic attempts to backpedal regarding your defence of white nationalists is that you did not dispute the FACTS that were presented by the SPLC (namely that stephen miller was spreading white nationalist propaganda in form of a white genocide novel), but that you tried to RE-LABEL those actions by describing it as merely "recommending award winning books".

that's why you never comment on what you did directly, just dishonestly suggest you were merely "criticising a source", when in reality you were sugarcoating someone's pushing of white nationalist bullshit.
