All those things you've mentioned to testiclese are due to poverty. People not experiencing don't choose to live on top of each other and work shitty jobs and eat shitty food.
Blacks disproportionately living in cities is not due to poverty. Being poor also doesnt have to mean that you eat shitty and become obese. It's harder, and you wont be able to eat quite as clean as a rich person, but it's definitely not impossible to come up with a somewhat healthy diet even if you're poor.

McConnell has a strong challenger now.
You mean that ugly woman... what's her name?
Ah, Amy McGrath. Just looked it up: she lost her race for an R+9 seat in 2018 by 3.2% in a D+8.6 national environment. In other words: she underformed by roughly 2.8%.
And this woman is supposed to bring down McConnell? I doubt it.

Republicans are incapable of criticism in the face of Trump, because he will crush them and they are licking his boots right now. He doxed one of the most powerful among them and will help in primaries against them in a heart beat if his feelings are hurt. They are incapable of masculinity in the face of Trump and seem to be constantly kissing his ass or being emasculated by him.
They are spineless opportunists, and always have been. Most politicians are. If the Dems were lead by an assertive bully, they'd fold just as easily.
Either way, you cannot reasonably expect a Senate caucus to be a general opposition to the president from their own party.
