Let's be real here. Do you think Donald Trump's rhetoric accurately reflects the real numbers?

Like I said before, reforming immigration and taking a hard stance on illegal immigration are perfectly fine stances to include on your platform.

But if you only listened to how Donald Trump talked about the issue of illegal immigration, you'd assume it's a problem that has gotten much worse, not better or leveled off.

First, we should criticize politicians for being dishonest even if every other politician is dishonest. We must not accept a baseline level of dishonesty in our leadership and government as "normal."

Secondly, Trump's dishonesty on this issue has been particularly egregious.

based on the graph it can easily be shown his statements reflect the numbers within a 20 year period

So you think Donald Trump is mainly referring to the issue of illegal immigration as a problem that has gotten worse over a 20+ time year window? Is that how you justify all of this to yourself?

What about his comments on how Obama has handled illegal immigration? H'es putting a lot of the blame on Obama. And what about illegal immigrants "pouring" over the border in recent years?

There are actually less illegal immigrants in the US right now than there were before Obama was president. Illegal immigration was something that really exploded under Bill Clinton and George W. Bush. Yet Trump talks about it like a lot of it is Obama's fault...I wonder if that sort of rhetoric has a political motive that isn't rooted in reality.

It's the right move. Of the two viable presidential candidates left, Hillary is the best choice. Electing Donald Trump would be a disaster, and Bernie fully realizes that. Additionally, they differ in some key areas, but there are also a lot of similarities between Hillary and Bernie's platforms.

It's also not surprising. Both Hillary and Bernie pledged to support the eventual DNC nominee.

You could say that, but I think it is my civic duty to support the candidate that I think is best for America. I also reserve the right to criticize Hillary Clinton even though I am likely voting for her. Voting for a candidate does not imply you agree with everything the candidate stands for. I'm just a practical and realistic person. Bernie lost, I've moved on, and now it's time for me to do what I think is best for my country.

I asked you for a time window given by trump and you haven't given one, using your data his statements can be considered true. Without further information a conclusion cannot be reached

It's pretty hilarious he can't just remember a couple big boy words to use as slams against hillary instead he has to read his insults from prompters just so he doesn't fall back on crooked hillary

The man who criticized teleprompters the hardest is now using them...and he's awful at it, too.

Just another issue he's flipped flopped on. He sold out to the RNC. He was too much of a loose cannon with the press, so now they are having him read pre-written and pre-approved bits at a lot of his speeches.

Trump has really been emasculated by the RNC and the powers-that-be, but his support will never admit that.

Previously, his biggest appeal for me personally over Hillary Clinton was that he was his own man and he didn't take any money from Super PACs/special interests, but ever since he lost those perks, he has become a really lousy candidate.

HRC and Trump are both sell-outs who aren't fighting for most Americans, but at least Hillary Clinton has better public policy proposals and wouldn't be as much of an embarrassment to the country.
