lets take this slow, one step at a time, so you can maybe understand:
you posit that masks are harmful because they block your airflow, right?
so theres less air going both in and out, right?
which is bigger, air molecules or covid?
covid is, of course, bigger. so even if youre right that covid goes through the mask, just like air, which is smaller, its still going to limit how much is going through. theres going to be less spreading of covid due to the mask. even if it doesnt block it completely, it reduces it. reducing some is certainly better than reducing none.
