Why is bitcoin cash a scam?

@voyaging could be a good day to invest in ripple, it looks like it’ll go down at least $1 and should return

I think that's a broad stroke to paint cryptocurrency with.

Is crypto currently a bubble? Yes.
Are there ponzi schemes within crypto? Yes.

However, that doesn't mean that all crypto is a ponzi scheme, and there are those who come out victorious after a bubble. The closest comparison that keeps being made in the media is that this is similar to the dot.com bubble, but many companies went on to be hugely successful afterwards. Crypto is no different. Short term investments can be made to play people/the market and make quick money, but long term investments are being made because of the technology and use-case that some cryptos have.

just started mining monero. Calculator says 1$ a day before fees on my garbage computer.

Ordered a new one though that will be ready to assemble in a week or two that will be more efficient. Maybe I could make a whole 5$/day and roll in the moneys

It was the only altcoin I could think of off the top of my head. I'll probably look up others later. I really have no clue how the market is right now for the dozens of coins.

I mean, if its profitable and I can just set it in the background and make a few bucks every night/day when I'm not using the computer..... then really why wouldn't I?

Especially since I'm buying a gaming rig that would be very well suited to the task, and in medical school I won't likely have lots of time left over..... if twice a year I check it and can convert it into a hundred or so dollars for fun times, then sounds like fun ^_^
