The issue isn't obesity. The issue is obesity that's caused by unhealthy lifestyles.

Don't shame fat people. Shame people with unhealthy lifestyles. In other words, don't shame people for being fat unless you know why they are fat.

It's really not that difficult to understand.

So healthy with my diet coke tehe.

No need to pile on fat people more than they already pile on thier 10th plate at Old Country Buffet. Its just mean.

I've never been more disappointed than going to the local Golden Corale for the "steak and shrimp" night. 2$ extra over an already 12$ buffet, before the drink.

I think the Fish Filet at McD's was better than the shrimp and the steak would have been better off ground to burger.

Because people think they're on some moral high ground by not being fat, even though their diet is likely super unhealthy, and their argument hypocritical.

Really comes down to people just not liking that people are fat.

not entirely hypocritical. one of the main facets of the "being fat is wrong" argument is the burden it places on out healthcare system. Even with an unhealthy diet a person puts far less strain on the system if they are no obese.

But its at least 50% hypocritical yes lol, every person who is driving up demand for cheap meat or processed sugar that isn't fat is just as bad in that sense.

They don't care about people being healthy, or eating healthy though. They literally just don't want people being fat. It's very reductionist.

There are legitimate societal and ethical reasons to not be fat.
