Oh really ? So, the guy that graduated from the University of Texas with a degree in Latin American affairs is more intelligent than the neurosurgeon from Yale ? He's smarter than the lawyer from Princeton/Harvard law school? Refrain from speaking on things in which you apparently know nothing about.

You know what IQ means? Do you know what a neurosurgeon has to go through? Neurosurgery is more a testament to hard work than raw brain power. Do you know the differences between Ivy league law and not?

Should probably refrain from talking about things you know nothing about.

$200 million to $4.5 billion strictly from taking advantage of chapter 11 bankruptcy laws huh ?

You would do well to take your own advice. Intelligence does not equal achievement, and being a surgeon or a lawyer is far from the most intellectual achievements available anyway. Going to an Ivy League school is more a testament to who you know or are related to than what you know. It's an exercise in social capital more than intellectual. It's easy to see on stage who the big intellectual conteders are. Rubio and Bush, and who the dunces are, Huckabee, Trump, Carson. (Also Fiorina, but she's only on stage because her donors need a woman to attack Clinton).

To put this in perspective, despite having education in biology Carson denies evolution, which is the fundamental biological study. It has not been contested in the scientific community for over 100 years, but Carson still does not even understand the most basic principles....

It's as if you don't know what affirmative action is.

I can only assume this is coming from your extensive experience in the field of neuroscience, & won't chalk it up to another libtard spewing nonsense. So you're also saying the guy with a degree in latin american studies is smarter than the lawyer from Harvard, & the neurosurgeon from Yale, got it.

So let me get this straight.

You're saying he can't speak on the subject because he isn't in the field of neurosurgery, but you yourself know exactly how hard neurosurgery is even though you aren't in the field.

Even though he's in medical school now and is much closer to the field than you.....

You're projecting super hard bro. Need to take a deep breath and get Trump's balls off your chin.

why are you using degrees/school as the only metric of intelligence, can you not see how flawed that logic is given that people make individual choices of what career to pursue and then what school to go ot based on that career quite often. Yale vs. another school may not be as skewed as you think if the other school has a great specialty program. Same goes for career choice, i know brilliant people who have a degree in ceramics and dumbasses with degrees in biology, using that as some objective metric is silly.

Sure, an individuals degree doesn't necessarily define their intelligence. However when you have a lawyer from Princeton/Harvard law, a neurosurgeon from Yale, & someone with a degree in latin american studies from UT (somewhere that's in no shape or form considered one of the best institutions offering L-A studies),& you're strictly speaking of intelligence, not experience or being adequate, it's fairly obvious who the runt of the litter is. So, when I see retards on here make a blanket statement that 'Bush is easily the smartest guy on stage' it's pretty, well, simplistic.

I know medical and law students who are complete retards. It's you who's talking about things you know nothing about, like equating being a neurosurgeon with intellect. They are indeed economically successful and did some demanding studies which makes the average joe think they're somehow super-intelligent. However, a guy with a Latin American studies could very well be more intelligent. Some of the users on this subforum are more intelligent Ben Carson (doesn't take a lot lol), and they don't study law or medicine. Both include intensive memorization which isn't exactly what intelligent people find the most rewarding.
