I'm personally all for dudes entering female sporting events. No one watched them at all. Maybe bringing in a few dudes to compete can actually make the events exciting to watch.

Certainly true for many people, zero stakes or interest in women's sports just far too heavily invested in anti-woke anti-trans mentality.

a great example is the recent story of an older couple who showed up at a youth soccer game to harass a "trans girl" who turned out to just be a girl with short hair, too much fox news.

then there's the "invested" Karen mom's who get bigmad when their daughter loses, might have had an opinion before but gets vocal when their daughter loses. that group is the dangerous one, they get shit done and direct a lot more hate from a local level.

Does one necessarily need to have a stake in something to have an objection or opinion on the matter. Don't think so.

Fair enough, while some might purely be malicious towards trans though I should think that a large portion of people who don't care about female sports do take issue because it's such a blatant attack on common sense in some cases, those are not people looking to abuse trans but probably get coupled in with them because anyone with an opinion that doesn't align with that vocal minority is going to get grouped in.

There are indeed some people who are duped into it, but if they're talking about it they probably just don't like trans people.
