The funniest part is that Biden was right on the substance, but he wasn't mentally nimble enough to explain why, so he instead lashed out at the journalist.

It's completely normal for presidents to be given names of journalists to call on... happened under Obama and Trump. And the idea that journalists have to get their questions pre-approved is ridiculous. Reporters and news organizations would go nuts if the White House did that.
