The thing is, everyone is aware of Fox News' extreme partisan bias, and either embraces it anyway, or watches their shows with utmost caution.
By contrast, a ton of people still think that outlets like the NYTimes or the WaPo are newspapers or record and would never publish any fake news or anything with an intentional partisan slant.
