What about russia? Lol... Congressional hearing proved fake and politically motivated so you don't wanna talk about that?

It's on CSPAN... Public hearing

What about Russia? You need to be more specific.

Collusion... How do I need to be specific... The allegations were streamed across ever platform for 3.5 years...

Find a better reason to avoid please

Well, one is the President of the United States who was impeached for abuse of power. He and his legal team have tried to delegitimize this election for months. 2016 was a bunch of sour grapes with no teeth behind them (many Democrats such as Diane Feinstein wished Trump well) and 2004 was a publicity stunt designed to focus on disenfranchisement. If you can't tell that one is significantly worse than the other, I can't help you.

Ah, so when Trump/Republicans do it, it's a nefarious attempt at stealing the election and undermining democratic norms. If it's the Democrats doing it, it's a benign publicity stunt for a justified cause.

Well, you could be referring to their disinformation campaign, their hack of the DNC, etc.

Trump was obviously too stupid to pull off collusion but there were people in his campaign that did some pretty bad shit. For instance, Manafort (one of Trump's campaign managers) shared internal polling data with a suspected Russian operative (Kiliminik)

Remember, Trump != Trump campaign. Unfortunately, Trump was too stupid to understand the difference and his retarded ass didn't listen to his lawyers. That's why Mueller spent most of the time investigating obstruction.

At the end of the day, I think people try to fit the facts to a narrative that they want to believe. That could range from "total innocence" to "treason."

Swing and a miss. You're smarter than this. It has nothing to do with Republicans given that they are doing their duty at the state level.

I think Trump tried to interrupt democracy for months now because he knew mail in votes, spurred on by covid fears of in person voting, all but spelled his doom. and he failed. and democracy won.

im not sure what his lack of concession or his insistence moving forward that he was robbed matters in the long run. Deontay Wilder comes out with a new crackpot theory each month on how he was cheated, robbed, and is still undefeated. And yet Tyson Fury holds the belt still.

when we take a good statistical look at how people truly feel we will find in the long run im sure that nearly all of the left, center, and moderate right think the election was not rigged. that even tho selective cases of fraud can be shown they tipped no scales. and will a slim minority of the right wing who cannot let go of their crackpot theories have much effect on democracy itself? of course not.

A nutty right-wing electorate is how we got Trump... it is what has enabled him to act as a corrupt, incompetent president.

So the king of the nutjobs lighting our democracy on fire before he rightly leaves office because he lost does matter. Politics is so intertwined with culture now that a fissure like this could have disastrous consequences down the road. Even worse than the consequences we've already faced with Trump.
