You should cut the crap, US govt debt is a fact. There's literally nothing "dishonest" about mentioning US govt debt in a topic that's making fun of a single Russian carrier while it's obvious Russia never pursued more carriers (they built nuclear subs instead) and Russia's govt debt to GDP ration is like 1/10th that of the US'. You should get to grips with reality.
The US carrier fleet is basically borrowed, the US army and govt require such huge budgets that the US can't even stop piling up more debt let alone pay it back.
Russias economy is a little over half the size of the UK. Smaller than that of Texas.
Russia has probably 30% of the worlds natural resources but is not even considered a global superpower. Russia is a Potemkin superpower.
Global superpowers have blue water navies.
Ergo Russia's navy does not compare to the US or China.
The effect of Covid on US debt is magnitudes higher than the cost of the US navy.
