Why the outrage at minuscule possibility of losing Columbus Day? It’s a holiday about a guy that had nothing to do with this country. The NFL is the epitome of capitalism and more American as well.

its a joyous occasion- part of history. There was a columbus day parade every year in NYC before covid hit. Commemorates a great explorer. The NFL is the NFL. I haven't watched it in the longest time, its not even that great of a game to begin with. But its involvement with politics and all the whining that goes around the league has made it pretty much unbearable to watch/follow- in my opinion. If you like it, good for you. Does it generate tons of money? I'm 1000% sure it does. Do I think it could have generated more money if it stayed out of politics? I certainly think so.

right right- i unfortunately saw it live on TV. Once again- nothing wrong with protesting, expressing yourself, etc. But on your own time, not during your working hours.
