imo simple answer all gov't officials at Congress and above should have to disclose their taxes during the time they are in the gov't.

Is anyone truly shocked that the guy who said he uses tax loopholes that’s been created by politicians actually used them to pay the least amount possible? The honest liar strikes again!

Also they pay roughly 40-42% of the taxes, while doing that they’re creating thousands of jobs from high skilled to the lowest skilled workers. I’d say that’s a win win win for everybody. You could argue wages, but a person with a low skill jobbed versus a high skilled job that was earned either through education or time should not be paid the same. Tier systems for growth might be transparent but I don’t own a billion dollar company so idk how that would manifest

To be honnest what i like in these "tax returns" is not really trump but more like how it could expose tax "evasion" tricks to the public. Not sure which american papers will cover it, if they ever do.

you mean the "man" who repeatedly lied about giving millions to charity and didn't donate a single cent? the "man" who for years claimed to release his taxes after a made up audit was over, and then fought it tooth and nail? selective memory is something beautiful...

well, probably not to charity, otherwise he would have claimed them in 2020, in which he didn't report ANY contributions, as the article you linked clearly confirms.

oh, and nice dodge on the fact that he repeatedly lied about wanting to release his tax returns, but not being able to do so while being audited, and then doing everything in his power to prevent his taxes from being made public...
