Well I don't vote Democrat ever, so I doubt a few navel gazing posts on an obscure forum is going to contribute to an already monumental problem. I have a hard time believing you can't puzzle this together yourself. I mean operational control. You know who and what is crossing at any given time. Proper accountability. As little criminal activity as possible. It's a separate conversation from who you believe should be allowed in, it's a bare minimum, base level sanity that any adult would want to have. That your side has no interest in clamping down on drug runners, human traffickers, and any other form of shady business boggles the mind.

Well I know it's because it's very important for Democrats to import future Democrat voters, but still, that can be done legally. The lack of operational control is catastrophic.

I've said this a few times on this forum: I'm an independent moderate. I'm not a democrat.

I also think your stance on that issue is fine with me, I would just point out that there's a huge cost to trying to keep track of everyone that crosses at unmarked points.

You do understand thought that many of them cross because they want jobs? I really think there needs to be a better system to prevent employers from illegally hiring illegal immigrants. Like if E-Verify was mandated that would solve a big piece of the problem.
