Anyone who actually followed the Jan. 6th committee understands that Trump took hours to do anything as it related to his mob attacking the Capitol and disrupting the certification. Late pronouncements were simply a reaction when he understood that the coup was not going to succeed, so he tried to save some face. This is after his Vice President, which the Trump mob called to be hanged, consulted with the military and law enforcement to bring reinforcements.

Your reaction is simply a prime example of the psychological hold that Trump had/has over people. That's why I've called it the Trump cult for years, before it became a popular insult.
