The Chevy EV have become notoriously bad vehicles. That aside people recently found out how long the battery is good for and realized you pay more than the car is worth to keep it running. They have a long way to go. Hybrid technology is very good. Most plug in is basically a marketing thing because the Prius always had an EV button. I’m not saying don’t buy a cruise EV but from a mechanical standpoint they are still junk.
Yeah that's going to the big problem with EVs. Toyota has solid state batteries coming out soon and I've been trying to follow that, but unfortunately I don't think they're going to be manufacturing any vehicles with them that I would actually drive. I stopped paying rent on my office during the pandemic and just handle all of my business from home now, so I wasn't really bothered by the range limitations before and it bothers me even less now. The airport is like a 15 minute drive from me as well.
