#5 election denialism and Maga politics. America first politics...when I think of America first politics I think about how trump wanted to pull us out of NATO. Look at what happened yesterday with the missile that landed in Poland. NATO countries are all in discussion right now. I believe partnerships with other countries are important. America first policies pretty much want to give the middle finger to our partners, pull funding from Ukraine, etc...America needs strong partners on the world stage and anybody who is against that I don't support

I agree that America needs allies but I don't understand why she has to give money and funding to these "strong partners". What does she get out of it? And why don't these countries give money to her?

Two comments from reddit perfectly encapsulate Kari Lake:

Quote
"She's like the meanest “mean girl” in your high school cafeteria decided to run for Governor. Her personality is extremely off-putting to the majority of people."

and

Quote
Lake is like that boss you meet on day one at a job and realize within five minutes that you've made a huge mistake.

I think the results of the election prove more people in AZ prefer hobbs over lake. Kari lake said it best herself. "People of az know BS when they see it" and the votes prove the people of az know kari lake is bs.

What do I personally like about hobbs compared to lake?

#1 she served over 10 years in AZ legislature and actually has relatable job experience. She fully understands how bills become laws and how the process of state government works. As a news reporter for the past 3 decades, does kari lake have the same level of understanding? Doubtful...this is not just a kari lake issue either- there are dozens of other democrats and republicans in high positions (Ralph Warnock, tommy tubberville, etc) who had zero political experience...I think you should work your way up. Start in local government, then state, then federal...have some experience in the job you are going for

#2 her background as a social worker. Worked with the homeless. Worked in domestic violence shelters. Understamds these issues and the policies that hinder progression in these places. Lake talked alot about the homeless problem in AZ but what experience does she have dealing with them? Does she have any understanding at all about the struggles homeless people have? She talk a lot but there is a huge difference between talk and action. One of the main things I dislike about lake is all the talking she does about "the radical left".. what has she done at all on a local or state level to change any of the issues she has with "the radical left" other than being a news reporter. If you have an issue, work towards policy change like hobbs has done in the state legislature. Hobbs joined the state legislature because of the policy issues she saw during her time as a social worker.

#3 abortion rights. Hobbs believes in women's right to choose. Lake believes in zero abortion at all costs - even in cases of rape and incest - and wants to prosecute doctors who provide women with reproductive rights care. The government and politicians shouldn't have a right to choose what a women does with her pregnancy. I am not pro abortion but I am pro the right of a woman and her family to choose what is best for their own body and future. If they have an abortion that is something they will carry the rest of their life, but it should be their right to decide what's best for themselves. Not a politician

#4 climate. Hobbs is pro clean energy and zero emissions future. Lake has said nothing about climate change or clean energy so I can only assume she cares nothing about the future of the planet

#6 division. Lake is doing nothing to unite. Sooo sick of politicians who are sooo angry and so far left or right. not doing anything to find some middle ground. How about we vote somebody in who isn't going to cause further division and anger in this country?

Climate, woman's rights, police brutality, Marijuana reform, election denial/casting doubt on democracy, and immigration (I'm pro immigration btw - every single one of our ancestors was an immigrant to America unless your native american) are the issues im most concerned about when i vote. I do think the immigration system is broken, but i dont think the solution is building a wall. Nobody has the solution but it must be a policy solution bc a wall wont stop it or slow it down. You think people who travel over 1000 miles will be stopped by a wall? Lol...needs to be policy change not a wall...

So I would like to throw the same question back at you since you have followed this race so closely. What do you like about lake compared to hobbs?

You act like anybody who votes Democrat is uninformed...can u believe that maybe people are just as informed as you, or more informed, but have different opinions? Imagine...

Maybe it was the fact you posted “haha gop loses” then came back days later with an essay.

So you like the generic progressive platform, I absolutely despise it.

Such drama. “Hateful rhetoric” “election denialism” you are super serious aren’t you

I have followed her campaign closely, obviously you have not. Would you like to explain who she hates and how she articulates that into her campaign? Or would you like to argue against anything she has said about how Arizona’s elections are conducted? They are literally the only state to have election machines completely going down during in person voting, and they are the last state to finish counting.

But again…

Never posted "haha GOP Loses". I posted "loser  " after the race was called (to inform PARD), and asked if anybody thought she would be relevant in the future....

I don't know how my answer is generic progressive platform...did u read #1 or #2??

I find it sad u won't answer what u like about Lake considering how closely u followed this race. U seem to have a comment for everything else in PARD...Has Lake actually done anything to help the people of Arizona other than report the daily news and scream about how democrats are "destroying america"? Do you think she will be at all relevant in the future?

You sir are the generic MAGA platform and I absolutely despise it

#2 definitely resonates with progressives, who speak all of 2020 saying we need to replace police officers with social workers. Progressives often tug heart strings reminding everybody homeless people exist but providing no answers to the problem besides allowing them to camp wherever they want.

I have a comment for many things in this forum. I use trading forums when I am off work for extended periods of time and also endings in losing tens of thousands of forum gold betting on nfl games. The d2 discussion is filled with mundane conversations of hammerdin vs light sorc and people arguing over what Java build is considered meta. I will state clearly that Phoenix monarch trumps spirit when clearing p8 and you will never change my mind. Therefore I post here where the conversation is sometimes compelling.

It is unfair to ask what Kari lake has done for politics, showing as she has never actually been a politician. Katie Hobbs is just a run of the mill career politician who refused to exchange ideas with her political rival, likely knowing she will be made as just another run of the mill career politician that people are sick to death of.

Revelation 6:66

And the lowest rungs of human society believed that their vote actually counted. That it would bring an end to the myriad of problems caused outside of the political circus built to contain their great minds.

They believed it so passionately that they cursed their neighbors and family of whom they count on the most.

They stood behind their party as demons stand behind Satan, "filled with pain, terror, and angst" for the battle was lost long ago only to be reenacted in modern times
