If manning up means bending over to the stigmata, then i'll never become a "man" pending those that place those critera on what a man is. Being a man means holding back, tolerating, making others grow and get better. It doesn't mean you have to playcate and be over-nice all the time. But it's better to be nice, isn't it? You wanna live in a world full of scumbags and a$$holes? And women turn evil too due to these psychopaths, they think it's "cool", but you'd never think they'd end up with nervous issues and pill abuse 15 years later because their psychopath "husband" has f*cked 20 women on the side during those years, and she just found out.
When you ask questions, don't you want intelligent and open-minded answers, rather than a fist to your head and told to shut up?
"Man the f*ck up". Grow some integrity.
Why we never learn about this stuff in school is beyond my understanding. I think the government actually wants us to give in to the shadow and dark side of our psyche .. so that they can upkeep a society of criminality and policing, so as to keep us in check. You know, it's easier to rule a people that's constantly bickering between each other, rather than a people that's united and communicating effectively and intelligently. What other reason can there be? Power. That's the issue. Those in charge think that power means you have to subdue others to be in charge. Yet the key to administer power lies in sharing it, and trusting the people to let you lead. And not be afraid to give power to others and let others grow. Power must be shared. It's like a black hole. If one person gets too much, it kills everything around them.
