The republicans won this election if you look at it that way. House of Representatives is now majority Republican. I don’t understand the celebration by democrat voters. It isn’t as bad as was predicted but they still lost numbers, and a majority. Senate race is still being counted but in reality the democrats will win those races.

A projected 6 seat pick up in the house while losing a senate seat is a pretty bad showing for republicans no matter how you slice it. All this shitty take shows is you have a fundamental misunderstanding of politics. Dems gained 41 seats in 2018, R's took 63 seats in 2010.

Gerrymandering is deeply undemocratic.

I know. You are a very serious person and obviously know things. Losing a majority is actually a win. Going from absolute full control of federal government to not having that is actually a win.

Fuck man I wish I knew politics like you, you so smart  Holy shit

The fact that democrats are celebrating this loss. They should have just lost everything in extremely dramatic fashion because of how terrible they are at their jobs, but they only lost a little bit so it is grounds for celebration!!

That alone is a huge win for not democrats. You so smart though mister!

Yes, places like New York make sure to look their districts through small cities in rural areas to ensure small towns of 300 people are represented by democrats.

Yes... But nope... This is a big fail for the gop. Usually these elections favorize the opposition. It's now a lost margin for 2024.
It's a performance for Biden and the reason is mostly the abortion rights since mass young voters made the difference ( apparently)
And when you see states with 500 votes differences, think about covid, too ...

Not sure what you means. Maybe you want to consider the popular vote (in millions voters?)

So lemme put this in words you can understand:

You get pulled over with 200 packets of heroin in your car, the justice department is pushing for 20 years, your public defender bargains them down to 2 years with probation. Did you come out on top even though you went to jail because the significantly worse outcome was avoided in fairly dramatic fasion?

America is losing bigly. They're not going to be honest about inflation and crime spiraling out of control, but we will all feel the effects. They will continue to sacrifice Americans on the altar of climate change agenda, sending money to Ukraine, and enforced outcomes. China will continue to increase its regional bluster, Russia and Ukraine will not reach a resolution, etc. Just because we had to let literal retards get basically unchallenged power in our government.

Masto won Nevada.

I'm not shocked that a big box of Democrat ballots showed up at the end. /s
