You realize all Catholics have to read the bible as part of their studies and confirmation process? You realize most Catholic schools in the boomer era where staffed by nuns ready to punish you. You realize Catholic schooled kids do church mass 2-3days/week. They aren't a progressive lot, Catholic mass is very formal and by the book old school indoctrination. They send kids to weird ass 'retreats'.

In contrast, other Christian groups gather and sing song and interpret the book with flexible subjective lens.

Regardless, monotheistic practices generally exploit the followers. Pagan religions are quite the opposite.
