There are different kinds of crimes. Robberies and unhinged white people murdering a couple dozen children in a school are categorically different.

You are the manipulators (you and Goom) for pretending they're the same. When pointed out you get emotional and appeal to race, say "but robberies".

It's weird that you think shootings involved in desperation based crime committed by poor people of all races is categorically the same as unhinged white people murdering 18 students and teachers.

It doesn't stop criminals doing hit and run one bit, a speed limit doesn't stop people breaking it countless times. All it does is line the pockets of court system and enforcement agencies.
I do however like training and education that could offer regular non criminal people better use of firearms.



I was merely pointing out your obsession over a particular tool. Also guns don't kill people it's people with intention that kill other people using (insert tool) guns, Knives, cars, explosives, poison etc
People use cars intentionally to kill other people all the time in hit and run, also I consider drinking and driving as a choice. At the end of the day the result is the same some one dies but oh heavens let's just spread mass hysteria about one in particular.

Disregarding for a second the bit where we're in a thread about a black mass shooter-
Murder is murder. 'mass' murder is what's going on in urban america where gun crimes are vastly disproportionate and make these isolated active shooter school shooting scenarios such a tiny anomaly by comparison. The vast majority of people being killed are killed in drug/gang related homicides perpetrated with handguns, such vastly disproportionately by black men that it generally comes out to be a minority-majority rate. They aren't the same: They are far worse. Because there are so many more of them.

How much sense does it make to legislate around these elementary/high school shootings with 4+ dead, events that happen about every ~5 years on average- when mass shootings in major cities "related to drug/gang crime" are measured in hours/minutes. Hell, at this point its just a statistic published at the end of every weekend for the philly/chicago/baltimore/etc wrapup. Fundamentally, I think its the true vein of caustic white liberal racism hard at work. As soon as there is something that could potentially effect the folks living in ivory towers, they want to throw resources at it with the gusto of the simpsons residents of springfield arming a bear patrol. Doesn't matter when black people are dying en masse, that's "not comparable". Who cares if the death toll of rifles each year is measured on the same scale as sharks, vending machines and backyard swimming pools, when handguns are measured compared to cancer and heart disease. What matters for white people is what matters to white people.
