The issue isn't specifically voter ID laws. The issue is that when voter ID laws are implemented, they are implemented in such a way as to make it harder for *certain* segments of the population to vote.
Like the one that was literally struck down for that specific reason that we've been talking about.
What kind of Voter ID do you take issue with, and what kind do you not?
For example in Wisconsin, you can provide a driver license, passport, military ID, college ID, naturalization certificate, or the various forms of receipts for pending IDs and a few other things like VA ID, Indian tribe ID, etc. If you do not have a photo ID, you may cast a provisional ballot or may obtain a specific voter ID by calling their voter ID hotline and providing the driver's license equivalent proof of identity.
Is there anything wrong with that in your mind?
