Depends on what you mean by that. The family is pretty old, but with age also comes dilution. Their financial empire is split among a pretty big family in a way that isn't the case for royals and dictators.

This is in theory true, however, I have heard that the total worth of the Rothschilds' wealth is around 500 trillions. And even if you say this wealth is split among their family, it's still an insane amount of money. In fact you can assume that there are a thousand descendants that carry the name, 500 trillion divided by 1000 is 500 billion. Still mind-bogglingly rich.

How big do you think this family is? Like, how many descendants are entitled to the wealth?

500 trillion? Not a chance. You need to double check those numbers lol. That would put them as being worth more than the entire United States several times over.

I won't argue the number with you, however, I just want to point out that they have had many decades to accumulate their money. So yes, maybe the GDP of the entire nation is only such and such, however that's only for one year. And there have been many years that this family has been around siphoning wealth from the nation into their coffers.
