I'm pointing out that now that it's war we no longer hear the truth which is concerning. It's all propaganda from both sides.
But Ukraine clearly isn't innocent, those far right groups that hate Russia have been engaged in the war for 8 years already. I have no proof but I wouldn't be surprised at all if some of Russia's claims are actually true and war crimes have been committed against Russian speaking minorities in Eastern Ukraine (committed by those far right groups)
There's plenty of proof most of it is pretty underreported as it doesn't fit the narrative. 39 pro-Russian people were burned alive in a building in Odessa by far right groups in one occasion.

Some 1,000 Ukrainian rightists, led by the notorious Right Sector, surrounded, stormed, and burned the House of Trade Unions in Odessa last Friday, killing 39 pro-Russia demonstrators in the building.
On their way to attacking the union hall, which was occupied by anti-Kiev government demonstrators fearing for their lives, the rightists recruited members of a Ukrainian football club, the Chernomorets, according to numerous reports in the European press and on line.
Many of those who attacked and burned the building wore swastikas and other fascist insignias, according to observers. Eye witnesses said that the fascists were armed with bats, shields, and metal chains and that the people inside the union hall had run there for protection from them. After the attack by the rightists streets around the trade union headquarters were reportedly stained with the blood of those who had jumped from windows to escape the flames.

In recent days, militia leaders in France, Finland and Ukraine have posted declarations urging their supporters to join in the fight to defend Ukraine against a Russian invasion. The posts have been located and translated by the SITE Intelligence Group, a private organization that specializes in tracking extremist groups.
Rita Katz, the director of SITE, said that numerous far-right white nationalist and neo-Nazi groups throughout Europe and North America had expressed an outpouring of support for Ukraine, including by seeking to join paramilitary units in battling Russia.
