The problem is you're still thinking along old imperialist lines. Believe it or not, what we are dealing with today is not an imperialist Russia which seeks dominion over all life on Earth, unlike the elites that control the United States, whom have installed thousands of military bases around the world while propping up puppet dictators in dozens of countries, puppets that are allowed to be as brutal as they wish and kill as many people as they want so long as they align themselves with western interests.
What we are dealing with is a Russia and China which have united, created an inseparable bond and now seek to create a multi-polar world in which international law is the basis for relations between nations and is actually respected and followed rather than blatantly ignored by those whom seek to dominate via force. Oh my gosh, the horror! Nations must actually respect eachother and follow the rules instead of engaging in shady regime change operations and launching wars based on false flag operations! That's so terrible!
The US Pentagon/military industrial complex/political elite consider this an existential threat because it seeks a unipolar world where it dominates quite literally the entire planet on its own and gets to set the rules while at the same time violating those rules whenever it desires. This is clearly not in the overall interest of the human race as a whole, and will only lead to the creation of a world where you are either the dominator or the dominated. This will not be a world worth living in. It's not possible for these two "world orders" to co-exist, and this is the real reason that Biden and his handlers have now provoked a crisis in Ukraine.
The truth is that Ukraine has already doomed itself into oblivion by sacrificing its own national interests to be used as willing pawns to provoke an unnecessary crisis with Russia. Not to mention how it launched an unnecessary war of aggression in the aftermath of the 2014 coup against its own citizens in which it committed countless massacres and war-crimes. To be quite frank, the world should be talking about sanctioning Ukraine for its countless murders of its own nations citizens, and for openly embracing Nazism, instead of sanctioning Russia for standing up for Donbass, a move which is clearly intended to prevent further bloodshed and fratricide, and which by the way is the right thing to do. Or have we forgotten that morality still matters?
No matter what happens, Ukraine will eventually dissolve completely into several smaller states. One will be Donbass/Luhansk. One will be populated and entirely under the control of the fascists responsible for murdering their own people. The other will be populated by those Ukrainians that maybe haven't really taken a side but don't want to be involved in any more war.
Russia isn't going to invade, and I'd bet my life on that. You're ignoring the point which is that the mass media is once again lying about imaginary Russian aggression, imaginary Russian invasions, etc, that it's just another lie being spun by the war machine so that you can engage in some fantasy about Russia once again becoming an empire (which in reality, all the indications are that it has no desire to be at this point.)
I'll take it a step further. You use Russia installing a pro-Russian regime in Mexico as an example. However, this is exactly what the United States has done to Russia... thousands of miles away from their own nation and right on Russia's border, creating an unnecessary but potentially existential threat to the existence of the Russian federation should Ukraine join NATO. Russia has been given quite literally no choice but to defend herself. Would they not be justified, then? By your own admission, even if they did invade? Which they won't, but that's besides the point.
At any rate, my points still stand. Russia does not have the money nor the means to "fix" a broken self-destructed Ukraine, which would be required in the event of an occupation. It would merely drain their coffers while causing a massive political crisis that would lead to the death of Nordstream 2 as well as sanctions that would almost certainly guarantee WW3's inevitability.
Ultimately, the consequences of this crisis land squarely on the feet of those imbeciles whom thought it was a good idea to overthrow Ukraine's government in 2014, and whom have the blood of thousands of innocents on their hands, the blood of all those whom died throughout the civil war in 2014-2015, a war which they provoked.
Every day that they pursue a foreign policy that resolves around total world domination, is a day where the world is brought that much closer to nuclear annihilation. I hate to say it, but with so many people that refuse to acknowledge this reality, perhaps humanity deserves it at this point.
How unfortunate.
While I would hate for you to have to kill yourself, could you agree to never post here again if Russia invades?
