I think the idea of culling invasive species is a cool topic.

Personally, I think let nature run its course.

What does that mean exactly? Human activity is natural. Are manufactured assets natural? I mean I could argue both sides, we as a species evolved naturally to be so resourceful and smart etc. If a species of muscle latches onto a boat fishing in a different country and brings it back home and that muscle becomes invasive. I think fair play to the muscle and we fucked up, but that entire situation was natural. One species took advantage and became invasive, no or little predators, huge food sources, it's a jackpot for any species to be invasive. I mean look at us humans, we are invasive af.


If these new invasive muscles destroy someone's business, that's natural as well. Starts to get a little messy and political at that point, however, the choice to interfere and cull these species is you guessed it natural as well. We are looking out for our species just as every species is.


Pretty indifferent on if it should be "allowed" or not. Think it should use used and done as needed, if needed.
