and what's your point? Boosters are a ridiculously low effort and low risk for the vast majority of the population. We should be doing universal flu vaccines and we can just add Covid on top of it once it's reached that point.

BTW, the difficulty in adapting to quickly mutating strains is one of the reasons why the mRNA tech is being used in the first place. Once mRNA vaccines become routine they can be quickly changed as new mutations occur.

Because this variant is per WHO “mild” and “2-4 days of flu-like symptoms” which is also the definition of a “cold”

Covid has been more like an 'uncommon cold'. Its the first time since we've had detailed global contagion tracking that we've had a disease deadly enough to raise death rates by a significant margin. Its probable the world experienced waves of such events every few decades, not as noticeable as a true pandemic like the spanish flu. A bug could sweep through the country and kill old people and mildly influence most people, and it wouldnt be in any history book

I’m not talking about covid-19, of course that is a deadly virus.
But This variant of it is not

Sry mewnt to edit not double post xd

We really dont have data on this new variant yet. Africa is full of young healthy people, the west is full of old fat people. Covid was deadly in the latter and not in the former. Once it comes to America its going to be another wave, possibly a vaccine resistant one, possibly one that is harder to re-vaccinate people against if they are already vaccinated

Is this described as Mild vs a patient who is fully vaccinated or a completely unvaccinated person?

Exactly countless studies show vaccines make viruses more likely to mutate and more likely to be vaccine resistant.
So making a booster for weak ass variants like this is only going to do harm

Do we have enough information to make that determination? If so, that's great! We expect variants to get milder as time goes on because killing your host is not good for business. We'll basically move from totally ignoring flu seasons to having Covid seasons with occasional mask orders.

Yeah this ain't happening voluntarily. Not in America anyway. But hey if blue governors and the white house give up emergency powers and back off mandates due to what you're predicting, I'll eat my words. But I don't think they give a flying fuck about the real situation in everyday people's lives. They've got special interests to pay off. Covid ends when Pfizer can't make money pushing their product.

here we go there will be other variants. They need this to keep going and going cant have people going back to normal and peaceful now.

Another vaccine rollout boosters x2 per year for the next 20 years. Yet another freedom stripping plandemic.

NEXT is THANOS VARIANT who is making up these names btw?

you say its planned but the world is not prepared for another wave of an even tougher strain that ignores immunization and incubates even young and healthy people

the current set of vaccines will not be effective against this strain, if this strain is allowed to run rampant and there isn't protection in the form of travel restrictions, mask orders, and new vaccinations we are pretty much royally fucked ala India when people were dying faster than they could burn piles of bodies
