Sorry - please see my edited post.
And I'm not sure you need to worry about your Orthodox Mormon friends being persecuted by their employers.
Most of my Orthodox Mormon friends ARE the employers.

And with your edited question, I don't believe that's relevant. The mRNA vaccine messes with your cellular structure. Granted, we think all it does is mess with it just enough to cause a group of cells to produce a spike protein, and give it a couple weeks, all direct impact is gone, and only the indirect impact of it's training to your immune system is what's left. If that's correct, that's incredible. Give it 20 years, it'll be the fully accepted gold standard to all but the truly "antivax".
The problem isn't knowing who made it, or what's in it. The true problem is that "unknown factor" that any new medical methodology brings. So like, many of these same people will take the annual flu shot. The methodology is time tested and verified. It's only the specific formulation for what it targets that changes. Where with the mRNA vaccines, they're completely new to human trial. That's where the issue arises. As I said, 20 years and no unwanted side effects? I'll agree that I know of no particular religious exemption that should apply, other than maybe the Satanic Temple's hardline "Bodily Autonomy" stance.

Anything you consume could have long term side effects that harm your temple. Hell, even an apple you planted and harvested yourself could harm you some day down the line if you develop allergies.
This is stretching it awefully thin. You know your apples are edible in general. Could the apple contain a parasite or something similar? Sure. There are risks in life, and everyone dies. What we're talking about is knowingly ingesting potentially harmful substances. And until you complete the phase 4 studies for mid/long term effects, the mRNA vaccines qualify.
