if you need religion or a man on a pedestal to tell you what right and wrong is then you are weak and stupid

just open a history textbook to see all the stupid shit religion has caused people to do. wars, crusades, hangings, just stacks and stacks of gruesome evil shit. not to mention, the dumbest part of the country is literally called "the bible belt" rofl

biggest horror shows in mankinds history with the rise of atheism.........................godless goodness...........

No, I'm saying that it is a common occurrence that people will say "Abortion is murder" but then not actually want us/society to treat it as murder. It is a confusing point to hear on the other side of the debate, because why not just use language that accurately reflects your position on face value?

I can't speak for other people, but if you ask me, my personal thought is that yes, abortion is indeed murder, however, it shouldn't be outlawed. The reason for that is because, like many people mentioned before, a pregnancy could be the result of rape, incest, or maybe there are complications that can endanger the women's life. And it is because of these reasons that I feel abortion should remain legal.

I think that even if we consider a fetus to be a full person with legal and moral rights, that abortion should still be legal because of the woman's right to bodily autonomy.

Let's say that you hooked yourself up to somebody else of your own volition to save their life. If you get up and leave, and thereby disconnect yourself, you kill them. You hooked yourself up with no coercion. Even in that very generous scenario, you always have a right to disconnect yourself. Bodily autonomy is so fundamental that you cannot be forced to stay connected for any reason.

Fetus' right to life trumps the woman's right to bodily autonomy.

That's a value judgement, and I wholly disagree with it. You have the right to terminate physical contact with anybody. That's a fundamental right of bodily autonomy.

fetus "no choice" in conception and "no choice" life/death its not a "pro choice" position

perhaps the argument is
sex is a toy?
sex is a responsibility?

So, I have bodily autonomy. So I guess that means I can hold a knife in my fist, and then swing my arm in such a way that the knife falls on your neck, thus killing you. And this shouldn't be illegal, because bodily autonomy trumps right to life.

Bodily autonomy does not extend past your own body. So no, it doesn't mean you can be anywhere, do anything, etc. etc. It means you get to decide what goes in and comes out of your own body.

Normally women can decide what goes in and out of their bodies, but the only exception is when there is a fetus growing inside her. If she chooses to abort the fetus, then technically it's murder. It's the deliberate killing of a human life by another human.
