In this particular case, it's Israel's fault. TIL i'm not a leftist, lol. it's such a moronic claim that "the left" doesn't support israel's right to exist, because that is simply not true. acknowledging that they are illegally occupying palestine territory, that they are running an apartheid state, and disproportionally killing palestinians does not mean you're in favour of israel not existing. it doesn't mean you think that shooting rockets at civilians is justified or smart, or that you agree with the extremists amongst palestine political leadership. you should aim to do better. stop arguing like a braindead american, apply some nuance...

If they fight so bitterly for hundreds of years imo just wipe them out they cannot demonstrate peaceful resolution. Like two kids in class.
Or just leave em be stop sending weapons or help.

Calm down dear, I wasn't calling you out personally. I'm well aware not every leftist doesn't support Israel's right to exist, but on the hard left (Corbyn et al) many do not

it's more than just my personal position, your whole "the left denies israel's right to exist" point is a lie, a commonly used narrative to dismiss any criticism of israel's right wing government. sure, there are SOME extremists who might do so - but they are clearly the exception. so acting like it's a widespread majority position amongst leftists is ignorant at best...

To add to that: a lot of leftists hide their true intentions behind political demands which sound innocuous at first glance, but which would, in practice, end Israel as we know it.
