To reduce transmission of a virus that has caused approximately 3 millions deaths worldwide.
If that's difficult to comprehend, there is nothing I can do for you.
This is going to be difficult, but I'm going to ask you to think about this next question before smashing the reply button and typing out more nonsense:
If everyone gets vaccinated, and if the vaccine prevents a person from getting covid, regardless of whether they can transmit it, then why is there a need for a mask?
Think it through, logically. If everyone is vaccinated, then everyone is "safe". It doesn't matter if they "spread" the virus, because the virus will not harm anyone.
Does this make sense to you? So, let's go farther down the logic trail: Many people don't want the vaccine. Whether they've already had covid (like me), or simply don't like vaccines, they're willing to take the risk. Given they're willing to take the risk, why would any form of masking be promoted to protect them? They're willing to risk catching the virus. They don't want or need your protection.
Once again, you're attempting to promote masking when, after a year of everyone masking, 157 million people still managed to catch the virus, and likely quite a lot more than that, as a large percentage of the population doesn't bother getting tested. Realistically, if you want to "beat covid" you should be going on about the importance of vaccination, and how vaccination will allow people to get back to their normal lives. Why exactly are you so invested in the idea of "masks will save everyone" when the majority of the 3 million deaths worldwide occurred while people were masked up? Once again, if masks work, why don't masks work?
As I said, you're actively ignoring the data. It's been explained to you the dangers of wearing masks for extended periods of time, it's been explained to you that masks have not been effective at preventing the spread of the virus, it's been explained to you that the best solution is vaccination, but you keep repeating the same nonsensical talking point over and over "mask mask mask". How about no? Vaccines are freely available. Go get a vaccine if you're worried. If you're not worried, then just live your life. There's no need for the nonsense.
